History of Powers Bros Machine

Powers Bros. got its start in 1976 when three brothers, (Chuck, Bob, and Freddy) decided to open their own machine and grind shop. It started in a small building in Huntington Park, CA. After a few years they were able to upgrade to a 21,000+ Sq. shop in Montebello, CA. There they worked with the second generation Powers Bros. along with additional employees.

The machine shop continued to grow in the 80’s and 90’s servicing a wide varied of industries, everything from refineries and pipe lines to meat processing plants, printing industry, water/wastewater treatment plants and railroad industry.

Today Powers Bros. is operated by the third generation, Chuck’s Grandsons. Although Chuck has since passed away, his vision of hard work and dedication for vendors and customers lives on through his Grandsons.  Powers Bros. is customer driven and dedicated to providing solutions for reciprocating and rotating equipment.  The current team at Powers Bros. is experienced and steadfast in what they do. The same relationship building ideals that Chuck believed in and utilized with his vendors and customers were the same ideals that he looked for in his team.  As a result of Chuck’s belief in building relationships and trying to help others succeed, Powers Bros. has become the successful company that it is today.

With over 40 years of  knowledge Powers Bros. has set many industry standards and still prides itself on being a family owned and operated facility. Our success continues with a reputation of being an industry leader. We have long term plans to stay in Southern California and continue to offer our services to our loyal customers.
